      While it is not necessary to buy your supplements through The UltraWellness Center Healthy Living Store, we hope you will in order to stay close to us at the Center. In the Healthy Living Store, we offer only the highest quality and medically effective supplements that we personally recommend at the Center. Dr. Hyman and the staff have spent years researching the highest quality and most effective supplements on the market and we’ve included the best of the best in our Online Store.

      The vast majority of these supplements can only be purchased through your relationship with a physician or nutritionist, which is why we make them available through The UltraWellness Center. Additionally, our supplements are offered at competitive prices.

      Finally, your choice to buy supplements from The UltraWellness Center Healthy Living Store supports important training and research in the field of Functional Medicine. We are committed to donating 10% of all profits to non-profit institutes supporting these causes.

    2. If I order once, can I reorder?

      Yes, of course you can reorder. In fact, we recommend many supplements that are designed to support your ongoing health for the rest of your life. In fact, we keep all of your prior orders in the system so it very easy for you to reorder supplements. We also offer an automated reorder option that sends you the supplements you want and need directly to your door at the exact right time without you having to lift a finger.     3. How long does it take from the time I order to get my supplements?

      Your supplements orders are packed and shipped to you the day after you place your order. Our distribution center is located in the Midwest (outside Chicago) so orders get to both coasts quickly. On average, you should receive your supplements to your door in less than 5 days. Naturally, if you take advantage of our automatic reorder service we have your shipments timed to arrive at your home before you ever run out of your previous supply.

    4. What are the shipping and handling fees?

      We decided to use FedEx to handle all of our supplement shipments because we felt they are the best in the business to assure that your supplements arrive on time and in excellent condition. FedEx will also allow you to track your shipments throughout the transit. We could have found a less expensive carrier, but we felt out patients deserve the best quality shipping and handling when it comes to getting delivery of their important supplements.

      We took an average of all of our shipping and handling charges and priced our standard shipping accordingly. We don’t make any profit on shipping and handling charges. We also don’t hide shipping and handling charges by charging extra for the supplements. Finally, we do charge a small surcharge on supplements that must remain cool during transit, like probiotics. We feel this extra charge is worth the assurance that your temperature sensitive supplements will arrive and still be effective.

    5. Is there an advantage of going on auto-ship?

      The greatest advantage of our automatic shipping service is that you are assured that your important supplements will arrive at your door automatically when you need them without having to remember to call or go online to reorder. You can customize the service to deliver different supplements at different intervals. You can start and stop your shipments at any time. You can arrange for your supplements to be shipped to different addresses if you spend time on long vacations or have summer/winter homes.     6. What do I do if the supplements arrive and something is damaged?

      While it is our goal to have all of your supplements arrive on time and in pristine condition, we understand that accidents do occasionally happen. If your order should arrive damaged please call our Customer Service Team at 866-435-2971. If needed, we will make arrangements for FedEx to pick up your damaged product(s) and a new order will be sent to you immediately at no additional shipping costs.

    7. Does someone need to be home to receive my order?

      No, in the vast majority of cases, FedEx will leave your shipments at your door, mailbox, etc. if no one is home. We take great care in the packing of your supplements so they are safe from the elements if you are not home. In the rare instance where FedEx does not feel comfortable leaving a package at your door, they will typically return the next day to try and deliver when someone is home or provide you directions to pick it up locally at your convenience.

    8. What about supplements which need to be refrigerated?

      The vast majority of supplements do not need refrigeration and are extremely stable. With some supplements like probiotics, it is important to keep them from getting too hot, but rarely is actual refrigeration needed. Regardless, we send supplements that need to be kept cool in special packages that have ice packs included to avoid any heat degradation. We take special care to assure these supplements arrive to you with their optimum potency.

    9. Do I have to order all my supplements from The UltraWellness Center or can I order supplements from other sources?

      Obviously, we want you to think of the UltraWellness Center Healthy Living Store as your main source for all supplements. We will work hard to be your preferred supplier, just as we work hard every day to make sure our patients at the Center are on the road to UltraWellness. While we feel we carry the best supplements available in every important category, we naturally don’t carry every individual supplement available, so you might have to purchase some supplements from other suppliers. However, we want your business and will work hard to earn and keep it. Please don’t hesitate to call our Customer Service Team at 866-435-2971 if you’d like to suggest that we carry other supplements not on our site or if you have feedback on how we can do a better job.

    10. Do you ship to Canadian or other countries outside of the United States?

      Yes, we do ship to Canadian addresses. We also ship to U.S. Territories like Puerto Rico. At this time, we do not ship to any other foreign countries besides Canada. We can accept credit cards with foreign billing addresses, but only deliver supplements to U.S and Canadian addresses.

    How can you find the best, safest and most effective products on the market?

    The UltraWellness Healthy Living Shop provides only the best of category products that we have used and found to be effective in our treatment of thousands of patients over 15 years.

    Finding the best products to support health has always been the most difficult part of my job and of any practitioner of Functional Medicine. The lack of adequate government regulations, the dizzying number of products on the market, and the large variations in quality all create a minefield of obstacles for anyone trying to find the right supplement, vitamin or herb.

    Fortunately, in a sea of poor quality and lowered standards, there are a few companies that stand out and have stepped up to the responsibility of producing safe and effective products. They meet our specific criteria for quality and effectiveness.

    I offer you The UltraWellness Healthy Living Shop to share my hard-won knowledge about how to evaluate and choose only the best supplements. I have worked with my team of physicians and nutritionists to choose the best products in every category – vitamins, mineral, herbs, omega 3 fats, hormones, and specialty products.

    What criteria do we use to select nutritional supplements?

    1. Manufacturers use GMP (good manufacturing practices) for drug or supplement standards from an outside certifying body.
    2. Site visits and inspection of manufacturing facilities.
    3. Third-party analysis for independent verification of active ingredients and contaminants.
    4. Products have some basis in basic science, clinical trials or have a long history of use and safety.
    5. Use of clean products, free of fillers, binders, excipients, flow agents, shellacs, coloring agents, gluten and lactose and other allergens.

    While I do not officially endorse any company, I do believe some have risen to the top of the supplement industry and can be safely used to help support and enhance your health.

    Unfortunately many of these products are designed for therapeutic use by physicians, nutritionists and other health care practitioners and are unavailable to the average consumer.

    That is why I have decided to offer them to my patients here at The UltraWellness Healthy Living Shop.
